Police are attempting to identify a man that may be connected to an abduction early Monday morning in the Town of Wallkill.
According to a worker at the Fair Oaks Mobil on Bloomingburg Road in the Town of Wallkill a man said to be in his late 30’s early 40’s entered the store just after Midnight on October 20, 2014 to purchase several beverages. At this same time, the cashier said a woman appearing to be in her 20’s knocked on the window and mouthed the words ‘Call the Police’.
The witness then states the man exited the store heading towards his parked truck. At that time, the cashier leaves the store as well and goes to where the female is to see if everything was alright. It is then that the worker said the woman said “He’s holding me hostage, call 911.” The cashier entered the store and pressed the emergency button under the counter and contacted his boss. According to the witness, police say that the man then walked to where the woman was, picked her up carried her part way to the truck then as he pushed her, made her walk the remaining distance to the truck. The witness goes back outside and asks the male if everything was okay. The male responded and said “yea she is just drunk, don’t worry about it.” The witness then contacted 911.
The man in question is being described as being white, in his late 30’s to early 40’s, with a large mustache. He was last seen wearing blue jeans, a red shirt with a black zip up style jacket and a dark cap. The vehicle was last seen leaving the parking lot headed towards the direction of Middletown and is described as a tan/gold pickup truck, possibly a Chevrolet or Ford extended cab model half ton pickup, F150 or 1500 series.
